Big Fish
This article is about a giant robotic fish that can sniff out pollutants autonomously. This fish can now help save the ocean by taking garbage out if the water. The fish was created in Spain. This happened in May 22, 2012. This fish was created to save our oceans and rivers of pollution.

Have you ever seen a boat made out of solar panels? A ship powered by solar panels rode around the world in 585 days. The boats name is called the MS Tranor PlanetSolar. The ship went through all 7 seas and came back to Monco's Hercule Harbor. The ship started its adventure 586 days ago and came back around May 2012. This ship was most likely made to save energy.
I think that this ship is a great because it is made up of solar energy. To clarify i think this ship is good because it helps the environment and can stop pollution. The boat can also help scientist study the ocean. And if the boat is sold it is sold to a great person that cares about the environment .

Poo Rickshaw
“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” The people that run the zoo in Denver have mastered this quote. The Denver zoo has created a rickshaw that runs on animal and people waste. This took place in Denver at the Denver Zoo. It started this month, and was used to save energy. This was a interesting story to me because this was creative.
I think this was a great invention for the Denver Zoo. One reason I think this was a good invention because it turns waste into fuel. Also this invemtion saves the inviornment. In addition this is a good invention because it saves them a lot of money. “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” I think the zoo members are doing everything they can with what they have

4 Labs
Last week we did 4 labs the first was the candle the next was the marshmallow the next was the big candle and last was the matter lab. First i will talk about the small candle lab. Frst in the small candle we saw the physical properties some that I saw were that the candle was rough and it was small. After we lit the candle we saw the chemical changes one chemical change I found was that the candle was melting and burning.
Next we did the marshmallow lab. First we saw the physical properties one was that the small marshmallow was small. Then we ate the marshmallow and the marshmallow tasted sweet. Then we saw the physical properties of the big marshmallow were similar to the ones of the little marshmallow. After that we lit the Bunsen burner to burn the marshmallow and see a chemical change. After that we ate the burned marshmallow.
The third lab we did was the big candle. We had to observe the candle and find its physical properties one property was smooth. We lit the candle and then saw a chemical change. After that we mixed vinegar with water. Then we put the glass over the big candle. Then the flame went out because the flame ran out of oxygen.
The last lab we did was the sugar lab. Then we saw the sugar’s physical properties we saw that the sugar was cubed, sweet, and small. Then we crushed the cubes making another physical change. then we mixed it with sugar. After that we burned the last 2 pieces of sugar. First we saw that the sugar turned yellow the black. In the end we saw that the sugar was rough and fragile.

Mixture Lab
On Friday I we had to separate all the materials from a plastic cup. Now I will be showing you the procedure to unmixed the materials.
1. Use the big magnet to take out the medal files.
2. Use the spoon to remove the beans.
3. Use the spoon to also remove the clear marble.
4. Use your hand to take out the toothpick.
5. Put the coffee filter on the educated beaker.
6. Put the plastic funnel on top of the coffee filter.
7. Pour the rest of the solution into the funnel.
8. Put the educated beaker onto the Bunsen burner.
9. When the educated beaker looks like it has no water in it tell a teacher to remove it.
10. Observe what you see in the beaker in the end.
11.CLEAN UP!!!!!!
In the end our lab table found salt.
